The immunogen was a recombinant protein. This antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction was purified from rabbit serum followed by Protein A/G affinity chromatography.
Isotype
IgG
Recommended Applications
ELISA (recommended work dilution= 1: 8,000) , Western Blotting (recommended work dilution= 1: 1,000-5,000) , Immunodetection Analysis: Representative blot from a previous lot. Lane 1, recombinant proteinIL-10. The membrane blot was probed with antiALPP primary antibody (0.2 µg/ml). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to IRDye 800CW detection system. Arrows indicate recombinant protein IL-10 from E.coli cell (19kDa).
Reconstitution
A separate vial of dilution buffer is provided for reconstitution. The antibody is supplied lyophilized, originally containing PBS, without preservative stabilizers (e.g. sodium azide). The final amount is indicated on the shipping vial.
Interleukin 10(IL-10),which encoded by the IL10 gene is a cytokine with pleiotropic effects in immunoregulation and inflammation. It downregulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC class II antigens, and co-stimulatory molecules on macrophages.
Storage / Stability
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity
This antibody binds to its immunogen, and did not show any cross reactivity with unrelated antigens in ELISA. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat IL-10 has not been tested yet.
