MHC class I molecules are expressed on the cell surface of all nucleated cells and platelets in mice. This antibody recognizes mouse H-2 of all haplotypes. MHC class I consists of three α units (α1, α2, and α3) and one β unit (β2 microglobulin). This complex interacts with CD8 T cell receptor complex and presents a non-self antigenic peptide which triggers an immediate response from the immune system against another non-self antigen.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
