CD205, also known as DEC-205, is a 205 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD205 is expressed at high levels by dendritic cells, thymic epithelial cells, and Langerhans cells. It is also expressed by other cells such as macrophages and B lymphocytes at various levels. CD205 plays an important role in antigen uptake.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
