PHA stimulated (3 days) human PBMCs were stained with either Purified Mouse Anti-Human CD25 primary antibody (#136-00008, blue histogram), or mouse IgG isotype control (gray histogram), followed by AF 647 anti-mouse IgG/IgM secondary antibody. CD25 was gated on CD3 positive population.
Description
CD25, also named IL-2Rα, is the α chain of the interleukin 2 receptor (IL-2R). IL-2Rα associates with the IL-2Rβ chain (CD122) and the common γ chain (CD132) to form the functional IL-2R complex. CD25 is a type I transmembrane protein present on activated T cells, activated B cells, some thymocytes, myeloid precursors, and oligodendrocytes. Though CD25 has been used as a marker to identify CD4+FoxP3+ regulatory T cells in mice, it has been found that a large proportion of resting memory T cells constitutively express CD25 in humans.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
