The RayBiotech Multi-Ten Microcentrifuge Tube Magnetic Separator efficiently separates magnetic nanocrystals in small solution volumes across various containers. Weighing 1.23 kg (3 lbs) and measuring 4.54 cm x 18 cm x 7.3 cm, it's easy to use and portable. With ten inserts for 1-2 mL centrifuge tubes, it enables simultaneous multiple sample separation. Smaller diameter magnetic nanocrystals require longer separation times. Ideal for iron oxide nanocrystals of 20 nm and above. During purification, pipette out the supernatant without removing the container from the magnet. We recommend washing the magnetic nanocrystals at least two times while the magnetic nanocrystals are attached on the wall. The device has ten openings designed for two different solution containers for two different volumes.
