Immunogen was recombinant SARS-CoV-2, S1 Subunit Protein (RBD) with C-terminal His tag, derived from the transfected human HEK293 cells. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G/A affinity chromatography.
Recommended Applications
ELISA (recommended work dilution = 1:320,000)
Reconstitution
Product is supplied as a powder obtained from lyophilization of purified antibody in 1 x PBS. Reconstitute the antibody with sterile water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
It's been reported that 2019-nCoV can infect the human respiratory epithelial cells through interaction with the human ACE2 receptor. The spike protein is a large type I transmembrane protein containing two subunits, S1 and S2. S1 mainly contains a receptor binding domain (RBD), which is responsible for recognizing the cell surface receptor. The S protein plays key parts in the induction of neutralizing-antibody and T-cell responses, as well as protective immunity.
Storage
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Expiration:
12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
