  1. Fantastic Kit

Overall this kit was very easy to use and offered reliable, replicable results. The modular test strips made for easy testing setups without having to commit to running a full 96 wells, which allowed us to do easy preliminary testing while still getting used to the kit. Our only complaint is that it doesn't last longer. Would love to see the development of a more stable kit.
Overall this kit perfectly suited our needs and we will most definitely be ordering more in the future.

The kit is easy to use and reliable. We have generated lots of data using this kit. I like this particular kit (CoV-ACE2S2-1) because the RBD is Fc-Tagged allowing to test the effects of diverse agents even spike proteins.

The kit is great, we have use 3 kits already. Something extra to say not product related itself, is BE CAREFUL with the temperature labeled in the shipping box. All items I've got from RayBiotech has came with a -20C storage recommendation when the actual kit temp is 4C and few items are -20. My coworker didnt check and all my kit got into -20 overnight until I came next day and verify it.

Some of the wells did work well. Next time we are planning to do an overnight incubation to give it a better chance. I'm ordering a 2nd kit.

Positive control along with kit showed a good signal. However, our RBD antigen showed no binding with secondary Abs. So finally we used competitive ELISA, it looks good though. Now it is the 2nd kit we are using, good product.

Great kit at an affordable cost. Easy to use. Have the option to choose Spike or ACE 2 on plate. Overnight incubation yields very high OD at 450nm, but the incubation time could be adjusted to 1-2hours at RT. It would be beneficial if they could provide the concentration of 1X ACE2 protein and also could have included a positive control (a known inhibitor) in the kit.

Instructions are easy to follow. Works well with both kit-provided and our own RBD protein. Only suggestion is they should at least disclose the concentration of the query protein.

I ordered the kit when there was only one option, "Spike RBD on plate + ACE2 query (CoV-SACE2)". At that time, the storage condition was -20°C on arrival, keeping some at -20°C and some at 4°C. I mentioned this for we should take care of the storage of the components of the kit.

We obtained good results using this, so I'll be purchasing more. With that said, the instructions could have been written a bit clearer and the actual starting amount of ACE2 in vial F should be provided (phone operator said it was "unknown"). This makes assigning true values to the standard curve impossible. But as I said, the qualitative use for binding inhibition assays seems to work just fine, just can't be quantitative.

The Spike-ACE2 binding assay is a sensitive and very suitable method for fast screening of potential inhibitors of the S-ACE2 complex formation. Signal intensity at 450 nm recorded for technical replicates results in very similar measurements and the signal-to-noise ratio is very high.
